Cookie policy

This policy explains what Longroad stores on your device and why. In short: no tracking of any kind, and one small value that remembers your choice on the cookie banner.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website can place in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site keep a small piece of information on your device. Both can serve useful purposes, such as remembering a setting, or be used for tracking across websites.

Longroad uses no tracking cookies and no third-party storage of any kind.

The one value we store

When you choose OK or Decline on the cookie banner, your browser keeps a single value in local storage recording that choice, so the banner does not reappear on every page. It holds no personal information, is never sent to a server and cannot identify you.

Because this value is strictly necessary to respect your choice, it does not require prior consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. The banner is shown so that you are informed.

No analytics

The site does not use analytics, visitor counters, heatmaps or session recording. We do not know how many people visit or which pages they read, and we are content not to.

No third-party content

The site loads no fonts, scripts, videos, maps or social buttons from other services. Every file you receive comes from the site itself, so no outside company learns of your visit through us.

Removing the stored value

You can delete the stored choice at any time by clearing site data for Longroad in your browser settings. The banner will then appear again on your next visit.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site uses storage ever changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and the banner will ask for your choice again where required.
